Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – April 6
Anthony Davis – Higher than 13.5 Rebounds
Yes, 13.5 rebounds is a very high total, but Anthony Davis is on a glass-cleaning tear. He’s averaging a career-high 12.8 rebounds per game this season, but lately that’s been on its way up.
Davis has grabbed 14 or more boards in seven of his last eight games, including a 23 rebounds game against Milwaukee. He managed 13 boards against Cleveland earlier this season – I think he can best that on Saturday.
D’Angelo Russell – Higher than 3.5 3-Pointers Made (Spicy Play = 1.1x payout)
Davis’s Los Angeles teammate, D’Angelo Russell, hasn’t been creating too many boards for Davis to snatch up with the scoring run he’s currently on. This is especially true from long-range.
The Lakers guard has hit 15 three-pointers over his last three games. He’s hit at least four three-pointers in three straight games and seven of his last eight games. I love this spicy play.
Rui Hachimura – Higher than 5.5 Rebounds + Assists
Let’s make this an all-Lakers lineup and add Rui Hachimura’s boards plus assists. He averages 5.3 rebounds plus assists for the season, but that number is consistently being beaten by him lately.
Hachimura has topped 5.5 boards plus dimes in seven of his last eight games and eight of his last 10. Let’s hope that trend continues tomorrow against Cleveland.
