Somehow the NBA scheduling gurus screwed up and didn’t schedule the Detroit Pistons vs the Washington Wizards game as the featured TNT game on Thursday night. Instead, we get it on Friday. And I’m making a play on it. Here are my NBA picks for March 29th. Go here for the latest NBA odds.

NBA Picks March 29th
Detroit Pistons vs. Washington Wizards
Tipoff – 7:00 pm EST
Spread: Wizards -2.5
Total: 229.5
Here it is – our premier game on Friday’s slate, the 12-61 Detroit Pistons facing the 14-59 Washington Wizards. And what makes it even better is many key players are out or questionable for tomorrow’s game.
However, the Wizards have put together a decent run as of late, winning three of their last four and two of their last three at home. Detroit, on the other hand, has not had the same run of success, losing their last eight games. And their top players, Cade Cunningham, Simone Fontecchio, and Jaden Ivey are out or questionable tomorrow. Wizards minus 2.5 is the play to make, as is the Under, especially with all these players on the sidelines.
Best Bet: Wizards -2.5 (-111); Pistons/Wizards Under 229.5 (-111)
Chicago Bulls vs. Brooklyn Nets
Tipoff – 7:30 pm EST
Spread: Bulls -1.5
Total: 218
Don’t let the fact that the Brooklyn Nets have won back-to-back games deceive you – they were against the Washington Wizards and the Toronto Raptors. Brooklyn is still a crummy team with a bunch of key players injured.
Chicago had a nice run going but has slowed down as of late, but they did win their last game by 26 points against Indiana. They are better than Brooklyn and should be giving up more than 1.5 points, but I’ll gladly take it. I was considering taking the Under as well, but these two teams both scored over 120 in their last game, so I’ll pass.
Best Bet: Bulls -1.5 (-110)
