Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – March 12
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – Lower than 10.5 1st Quarter Points
While the Pacers like a high-paced, high-scoring game, this number is a little high for me. Seven straight games have seen Gilgeous-Alexander come up short of this mark in the first quarter. His season average is even a touch underneath this mark. He is averaging just 9.7 points per game in the first quarter.
Kyle Kuzma – Higher than 24.5 Points
In five games this month, Kuzma has come up short of this number just once. Even that game was just 1.5 short of meeting the projection. Memphis is a solid enough defensive team, but Kuzma has really taken over the lion’s share of the Wizards’ scoring. He has been the high scorer in the last two games and in four of the least seven games. Someone on that team should come in at 25 points, so why not him?
Malik Monk – Higher than 18.5 Points
In the last five games, Monk has cleared this mark three of them. He was only half a point away from it in another of those. Now he gets a chance at the Bucks, who have been pretty bad defensively as of late. In their last three games, the Bucks have allowed 121.7 points per game – and that puts them at 25th in the league.
