Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – March 11
Cade Cunningham – Higher than 22.5 Points
In Cade I trust! Boy have things changed. I was fading the Detroit guard, Cade Cunningham, to start the season, but times have certainly changed. The man is on fire. And there’s no way the terrible Charlotte Hornets are going to cool him off tomorrow.
Cunningham has his season scoring average up to 22.6 ppg thanks to a 23.6 ppg average this month. He’s topped this 22.5-point projection in three straight games. And did I mention Charlotte stinks?!
Jaden Ivey – Higher than 3.5 Assists
Let’s stick with the Detroit Pistons and keep fading the Charlotte Hornets. Someone has to help set up Cunningham to score all those baskets tomorrow, so why not let it be Jaden Ivey?!
I think the 3.5 assist mark is very doable for Ivey on Monday. He’s averaging 3.6 helpers per game for the season, and he’s topped 3.5 assists in two of his last three games and four of his last six contests. And did I mention that Charlotte sucks?!
Grant Williams – Lower than 12.5 Points
Let’s take this bullying the Charlotte Hornets thing to the extreme and take the lower than 12.5 points for new Hornet Grant Williams. Williams is playing much better in Charlotte than he was in Dallas to start the season, but not lately.
While Williams is averaging 12.7 ppg in a Charlotte uniform, he’s only putting 10.8 points on the board per game in March, and he’s gone lower than this 12.5 point mark in three straight games.
