We’ve got a pretty quiet Saturday on the NBA front, with only seven games on the schedule. And outside of Boston vs Phoenix, there aren’t too many top-shelf matchups, either. Regardless, here are my NBA picks for March 9th. Go here for the latest NBA odds.

NBA Picks March 9th
Chicago Bulls vs. Los Angeles Clippers
Tipoff – 4:00 pm EST
Spread: Clippers – 9.5
Total: 221.5
Don’t look now, but here come the Bulls! There’s still some life left in Chicago, as they’ve won six of their last 10 games, including three straight – all on the road. They’re up to #9 and inside the play-in in the Eastern Conference. Do I think that they’ll beat the Los Angeles Clippers on the road tomorrow? Not necessarily, but I do think that 9.5 points is too big of a spread, so Bulls +9.5 is the play. As is the Over – I think this game gets into the high 220s.
Best Bet: Bulls +9.5 (-109); Bulls/Clippers Over 221.5 (-110)
Brooklyn Nets vs. Charlotte Hornets
Tipoff – 7:00 pm EST
Spread: Nets -5.5
Total: 212
This is not a very good game, at least on paper. Especially with a bunch of key players injured on both sides, none more so than LaMelo Ball. While the Brooklyn Nets are nominally better than the Charlotte Hornets, I don’t trust them enough to lay 5.5 points on them on the road. I do, however, love the Over in this game, especially if Cam Thomas is back for Brooklyn. Over 212 is the play.
Best Bet: Nets/Hornets Over 212 (-110)
