Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – March 8
Miles Bridges – Lower than 22.5 Points
Bridges is coming off a game where he missed some time due to a minor wrist injury. He eventually returned to the game and looks poised to play the Wizards on Friday, While some might look at a game with Washington and expect him to beat the projections, I’m worried about the lingering effects of that injury. Additionally, he has been lower than this mark in six of his last seven games.
Jalen Brunson – Lower than 28.5 Points
Another injury concern that I’m fading on Friday is Jalen Brunson. After leaving Sunday’s game just a minute in, he missed Tuesday with a knee contusion. He made it through most of Thursday’s practice and seems set to play Friday, but you have to worry about how good he’ll look.
On top of all of that, the Magic are third in the NBA is limiting opponent’s scoring. They’re also 5th in limiting the three-point shot.
LeBron James – Higher than 0.5 Double-Doubles
This will be the first time that James and the Lakers faces off with the Bucks this year, but LeBron over the years has gotten up for these games. In their last seven showdowns, he’s nabbed two double-doubles and two triple-doubles. In the three games he got neither of those, he was never more than two assists away from finishing the job.
With the Bucks struggling on the road a bit more than they have in past years, I like LeBron to have a big night on all parts of the stat sheet.
