Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – March 4
Dorian Finney-Smith – Lower than 4.5 Rebounds
Finney-Smith is averaging ahead of this projection on the year at 4.7 per game. However, he’s been on a downward swing as of late. He has not met the projection in three straight games and had two straight months where he came in lower than this for his average.
In February, he averaged just 4.1, which was a tick down from his January average of 4.2. Add in that he had two games in February with nine boards, and the lows were that much lower.
Nikola Vucevic – Higher than 19.5 Points
You can always count on a Kings game to produce some high-scoring, but there’s even more reason to like Vucevic in this spot. Just once in Feburary did he fail to reach the 20 point mark. He also hit it in the first game in March as well. In his only game against Sacramento this year, he went for 24, and I see no reason to expect him to have less than that.
Collin Sexton – Lower than 30.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Sexton has looked much better scoring the rock as of late. He’s gone over his season average in three straight games. Still, he’s not really filling out the stat sheet in a way that would support this projection. In fact, he’s come up at least 2.5 below this in each of his last five games.
If you take that five-game average, he has 25.6 PRA per game in that time – well below what he’d need here.
