Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – March 3
Luka Doncic – Higher than 42.5 Points + Assists
You can’t go wrong taking a higher play for Luka Doncic, right?! The Dallas star is having another season for the ages, and I think that continues on Sunday against the depleted Philadelphia 76ers at home.
Doncic has topped 42.5 points plus assists in three straight games and four of his last five. For the season is averaging 34.5 ppg and 9.7 apg which is higher than 42.5 as well, by my math. Higher is the play.
Tyrese Maxey – Higher than 28.5 Points
Let’s stay in Dallas’ American Airlines Center for our next play, and take higher than 28.5 points for Philly’s lone non-injured star, Tyrese Maxey. Maxey may be only averaging 26.1 ppg for the season, but I think he gets to at least 29 for us tomorrow.
Maxey has had back-to-back 30+ point games – 32 and 33 points, to be exact. And the Mavericks have one of the NBA’s worst defenses this season, so if Maxey isn’t too tired chasing Doncic and Kyrie Irving around the other end of the court, I think he hits this play for us.
Kawhi Leonard – Higher than 10.0 Rebounds + Assists
Kawhi Leonard is averaging right around this projection for rebounds plus assists this season – 6.2 rpg and 3.7 apg. But he’s been even better over the last few Los Angeles Clippers games.
The finally healthy star has topped the 10 rebounds plus assists mark in four straight games. He had nine rebounds last game, almost getting us to the 10 mark on rebounds alone. I think he will get it done tomorrow in a pivotal game in Minnesota.
