Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – February 27
Jalen Johnson – Higher than 9.5 Rebounds
He might only be grabbing 8.7 rebounds per game on the year. That might look like you want to stay away from him going for more than 9.5. However, he’s been on fire this month – particularly as of late. He’s grabbed douvle figures in the last three games. He’s also averaging 10.1 during the month of February. Utah might be a tough team to get boards on, but the trend is solid enough for me to overlook that fact.
Alperen Sengun – Higher than 0.5 Double Doubles
This is the second of a home-and-home the Rockets have had with the Thunder. While you might expect it hard to grab 10+ boards against Chet Holmgren and the gang, Sengun went for an easy 12 last time out against the team that drafted him. He’s also had double digit rebounds in 12 of his last 17 games.
Anthony Edwards – Higher than 11.0 Rebounds and Assists
Edwards has been a revelation for the Timberwolves this season. He’s a huge peice of why they are as good as they are. And although people are noticing his work scoring, he’s been filling out that stat sheet lately. The only time he’s come up short of this number since February 4th is when he was banged up against the Blazers. He’s hit it in each of the last three games since then and I like him to get plenty of dimes against the Spurs.
