Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – February 12
Nick Richards – Lower than 8.5 Rebounds
There’s lots of reasons to think that Richards comes up short of this mark. The first of which is that he’s come up short in two of the last three games. The next is that he’s faced a minutes reduction as of late. He played 30+ minutes in five of six games – only to be under that number in two of the last three. Finally, he’ll face the Pacers who now have Pascal Siakam waxing the glass with Myles Turner.
Maxi Kleber – Higher than 1.5 1st Quarter Points
The Mavericks are banged up pretty bad right now. There’s not a real clear picture of who will play and who won’t. However, Kleber will be in there and has scored a bucket in four of the last six games. Additionally, he had seven in the first quarter on Satruday against the Thunder. One bucket seems like not a lot to ask from the German.
Jonathan Kuminga – Lower than 5.5 Rebounds
Kuminga has seen an untick in scoring as of late, but as a result has seen a downturn in the rebounds. He’s come up short of this projection in two straight and three of his last five. Only once this month has he beat this number by more than a half. Let’s add in that the Jazz are 4th in the NBA in limiting rebounds to their opponents and it should be enough to keep Kuminga off the glass.
