Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – February 11
Jayson Tatum – Higher than 4.5 Assists
Jayson Tatum is averaging 4.6 assists per game this season, so his line being set at 4.5 assists for Sunday makes sense. However, he’s been quite charitable to his Boston Celtics teammates lately. He’s had at least seven assists in three straight games, and he’s topped this 4.5 assist mark in three straight games (obviously) and five of his last six. I see him getting at least five dimes tomorrow in Miami.
Jaylen Brown – Higher than 5.5 Rebounds
Tatum’s fellow ‘Jay’, Jaylen Brown, also has a line that on paper looks correct – 5.5 rebounds. That is exactly what he is averaging on the season on the glass. However, he’s been pounding the boards for the Celtics lately, making this 5.5 number look way too low. He’s topped it in six straight games and seven of his last nine, and is averaging 7.0 rebounds in February.
Derrick White – Higher than 4.0 Assists
Let’s make this an all-Celtics column, and take Derrick White’s assists to be higher than four tomorrow against Miami. The Boston guard has beat this number in back-to-back games and four of his last five, and is averaging 4.8 assists per game this season. That number is even better in February, as he’s assisting on 5.5 scoring plays per game this month.
