Donovan Mitchell – Higher than 28.5 Points
Donovan Mitchell and his Cleveland Cavaliers are on a heater. And with the no-defense Sacramento Kings visiting tomorrow night, look for Mitchell to have another high-scoring game. Mitchell has topped 28.5 points in two of his last three games and three of his last five. His scoring average on the season is up to 28.1 ppg now. I expect him to surpass that on Monday night.
Domantas Sabonis – Lower than 18.5 Points
Sticking with the Sacramento and Cleveland game, let’s take the lower than 18.5 points for Domantas Sabonis. The big man is averaging 19.9 ppg on the season, but he’s up against the Cavs’ twin-tower defensive big man duo of Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen tomorrow night. The Cleveland twosome should be able to keep Sabonis to a below-average night on the scoreboard.
Stephen Curry – Higher than 29.5 Points
I’m picking Golden State to win (or at least cover) tomorrow night in Brooklyn, so I better take the higher than 29.5 points for Stephen Curry. He more than doubled this projection in his last game, dropping 60 on Atlanta in a losing effort. In fact, he’s topped 29.5 points in four of his last five games – vintage Curry. No reason he can’t do the same against a mediocre Brooklyn squad.
