NBA Picks February 5th
Sacramento Kings vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Tipoff – 7:00 pm EST
Spread: Cavaliers -5.5
Total: 232.5
Two of the NBA’s hottest teams are hooking it up at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse tomorrow night, as the Cleveland Cavaliers host the Sacramento Kings. Sacramento has won six of their last seven, with five of those wins coming on the road, including their last two on their Eastern Conference road trip. Cleveland has won five straight and an amazing 13 of their last 14. But I think 5.5 points is too wide of a spread, especially considering the Kings are one of the league’s best road teams (15-11). No play on the total.
Best Bet: Kings +5.5 (-110)
Golden State Warriors vs. Brooklyn Nets
Tipoff – 7:30 pm EST
Spread: Nets -2.0
Total: 236.0
Maybe I’m feeling myself a bit by suggesting we take the Golden State Warriors +2 in Brooklyn against the Nets. But the Nets aren’t that great of a home team (12-13) and are banged up, with numerous players on the shelf or questionable for tomorrow. Golden State is missing Andrew Wiggins, which actually might be a boost considering how he’s playing this season, but should have Dario Saric back. Hell, let’s do it – Golden State plus two for tomorrow. The total looks good, so no play there.
