Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – February 3
Tyrese Maxey – Higher than 30.5 Points
No Joel Embiid means Tyrese Maxey is going to have to carry the scoring load for the Philadelphia 76ers if they are going to keep afloat. It was mission accomplished on Thursday, as Maxey poured in a career-best 51 points. I think he can get us at least 31 points tomorrow at home against the Brooklyn Nets and their below-average defense.
Cam Thomas – Higher than 22.5 Points
Let’s stick with the Nets-Sixers game and take a player lining up across from Maxey, Cam Thomas. The Brooklyn guard is on one of his heaters again, with four straight games of 25 points or more. With no Embiid patrolling the paint tomorrow night in Philly, I think that Thomas can slash and shoot his way to 23 points – or more.
Jalen Brunson – Higher than 32.5 Points
What the hell – let’s predict a high-scoring game for Jalen Brunson tomorrow night as well. Brunson is another guy who has really turned things up due to the absence of a teammate, in this case Julius Randle. And he’s up against a Los Angeles Lakers team tomorrow who may be without defensive studs Anthony Davis and LeBron James.
