San Antonio Spurs vs. Washington Wizards

This matchup is too funny for me to pass up on. Two 7-33 teams going at it. Actually, San Antonio is playing tonight (Friday) in Charlotte, so they’ll probably be 7-34 by the time this one tips off on Saturday. So, yes, this is a back-to-back on the road for the Spurs. However, there’s a big however here – Victor Wembanyama is sitting out Friday so he can play at full strength on Saturday against the Wizards. Because of this, and because technically San Antonio is better on the road this season than at home, let’s go Spurs +2. No play on the total – looks about right to me.

Toronto Raptors vs. New York Knicks

Spread: Knicks -7.5
Total: 228
Recent trade partners the Toronto Raptors and the New York Knicks go at it tomorrow night in Madison Square Garden. The Raptors are a team in flux, to say the least, with OG Anunoby a Knick now, and Pascal Siakam a Pacer. It’s going to take some time to integrate their new players into their lineup and have everyone settle into a role. Plus, they stink on the road, while the Knicks are one of the league’s best home teams. Knicks -7.5 it is. No play on the total, once again.
