Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – January 6
Jalen Brunson – Higher than 26.5 Points
I was going to take the lower than here, but Jalen Brunson has been increasing his scoring each month of this season, to the point where he’s now averaging 25.7 points per game. And he’s topped 27 points in two straight games and three of his last four. But, most importantly, he’s playing Washington tomorrow. They stink, in case you haven’t heard.
Julius Randle – Lower than 10 Rebounds
However, with all those shots falling against Washington tomorrow, there won’t be many rebounds to grab. So I’m taking the lower than 10 boards for Julius Randle. He’s averaging 9.5 rebounds per game this season, but hasn’t topped 10 in three straight games, and has only grabbed double-digit boards twice in his last nine games.
Kyle Kuzma – Lower than 20.5 Points
Kyle Kuzma leads the hapless Washington Wizards in scoring with a 22.8 ppg average. However, he’s had back-to-back dud games, only scoring 25 points total in them (16 and nine). And he’s only scored 21 points or more twice in his last seven games. I think KK is going to get locked down by the Knicks tomorrow.
