Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – December 27
Mikal Bridges – Lower than 21.5 Points
Mikal Bridges’s scoring has taken a dip this season – he’s scoring 4.4 points less per game (26.1 last season down to 21.7 this year) due to worse shooting accuracy and fewer attempts. He’s only scored 22 points or more once in his last eight games and twice in his last 10. I don’t trust him to do it again tomorrow against the Milwaukee Bucks on the second night of a back-to-back.
Giannis Antetokoumpo – Higher than 31.5 Points
Giannis Antetokounmpo is nursing a calf injury, so it’s not 100% certain he’ll be suiting up against the Brooklyn Nets tomorrow. However, if he does, I’m taking his higher than 31.5 points play. He’s topped this number in two of his last three games, and Brooklyn has pretty horrible defense this season. Additionally, as mentioned above, Brooklyn played an away game in Detroit on Tuesday night, so there might be some tired legs tomorrow.
Luka Doncic – Higher than 36.5 Points
Let’s ride this Luka Doncic hot streak until the wheels fall off. He hit the Phoenix Suns up for 50 points on Christmas Day after dropping 39 against San Antonio two nights earlier. He’s gone higher than this 36.5-point projection in two straight games and five of his last six games, and is averaging an eye-popping 37.3 points in December.
