After a brief Christmas break for some teams, the NBA is back up and running a full slate on Tuesday night. That means quite a few teams are playing back-to-back games come Wednesday. With that in mind, here are my NBA picks for December 27th.

NBA Picks December 27th
Toronto Raptors vs. Washington Wizards
Tipoff – 7:00 pm EST
Spread: Raptors -6.5
Total: 239
It’s hard to put any faith in the Toronto Raptors this season – this team has consistently been worse than the sum of their parts. And they’re only 3-9 on the road. However, they are playing the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, and the Wizards are playing as these words are being typed, so it’ll be back-to-back for them coming out of the Christmas break. I’ll cautiously take the Raptors -6.5 here – no play on the total – it looks about right to me.
Best Bet: Raptors -6.5 (-110)
New York Knicks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
Tipoff – 8:00 pm EST
Spread: Thunder -2.5
Total: 238.5
The Oklahoma City Thunder are another team enduring a back-to-back coming out of the break, as they are playing at home on Tuesday against Minnesota. Both the Thunder and the Knicks have won three of their last five as of Tuesday, with New York coming off a big Christmas Day win at home against the Milwaukee Bucks. Let’s roll the dice and take the road dog plus the points. Also, the Total of 238.5 is higher than my number, especially with the Thunder probably being tired, so I’m taking the Under.
Best Bet: Knicks +2.5 (-110), Knicks/Thunder Under 238.5 (-110)
