Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – December 8
De’Anthony Melton – Higher than 12.5 Points
Melton might be a little banged up, but the numbers still hold up for him. He was banged up on Wednesday and still was able to easily clear this projection with 19. In fact, this number hasn’t really been in question for him in the last month. Since November 14th, Melton has finished with less than 12.5 points just once, and that was the blowout loss to the Laker in which the starters didn’t finish the game.
Bojan Bogdanovic – Higher than 19.5 Points
We’ve only seen one game out of Bogdanovic this year and just one start. However, he picked right up where he left off last year with the Pistons. In his first season with the squad, he averaged 21.6 points over 59 games. So far this year, he’s scored 22 in both of the games that he’s played.
The Magic have played solid defense this year, but have shown cracks in the armor lately. Over their last three games, they’ve averaged allowing 125 points per game – which puts them in the bottom five of the league in that span.
Jalen Williams – Higher than 7.5 Rebounds and Assists
The projection on Jalen Williams’ rebounds alone is fairly tempting. They have the number set at 4.5 boards and he has five in each of the last three games. The thing that makes this combo more attractive is that he’s been getting an equal amount of dimes over that period. He’s averaged five per game in his last three giving him a combination average of ten – well above what we’d need here.
