Washington Wizards vs. Orlando Magic

The early trend of the season has been the Orlando Magic in the first half, where they are 14-3 ATS and a perfect 6-0 ATS at home. However, I dug a little deeper, and the Magic have been one of the best teams in the 2nd quarter. In fact, the Magic lead the league in 2nd quarter scoring where they average 32.4 points per game.
Further, the Magic have the best net rating (+23.8) in the 2nd quarter whereas the Wizards are #16 overall 2nd quarter net rating (-0.7). I like the Magic to continue dominating in the 2nd quarter a bit of pivot from the first half bet.
Best Bet: Magic 2Q -2.5 & TT Over 30
Houston Rockets vs. Denver Nuggets
Tipoff – 9:00 pm EST
Spread: Nuggets -7.5
Total: 216.5
This will be the third matchup this season between the Houston Rockets and the Denver Nuggets. The Rockets have won both games against the Nuggets on their home floor. Further, the Rockets are in a tough situation tonight, coming off a tough loss in Dallas on Tuesday night. The Rockets were in a win and clinched the group situation for the NBA in-play tournament.
Additionally, the Nuggets could possibly get Jamal Murray back tonight in the lineup. The Nuggets are undefeated at home and 5-3 against the spread. I expect the Rockets to run out of gas in the 2nd half and the Nuggets to pull away.
Best Bet: Nuggets -7.5
