NBA Picks November 26th
Portland Trail Blazers vs. Milwaukee Bucks
Tipoff – 3:30 pm EST
Spread: Bucks -12.5
Total: 231
Damian Lillard welcomes his former team to his new home on Sunday afternoon, and the Bucks are expected to roll. And they more than likely will, as the Blazers are 4-11 this season, and have lost by 13 or more points in four of their last five losses (they actually managed to win their last game against the also-rotten Utah Jazz). The Bucks will cover, but they won’t score enough to top the total of 231, and the Blazers can’t be counted on to help out – their 104 points scored per game this season is dead last in the NBA.
Best Bet: Bucks -12.5 (-110), Trail Blazers/Bucks Over 231 (-110)
Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Memphis Grizzlies
Tipoff – 6:00 pm EST
Spread: Timberwolves -6.5
Total: 217.5
Our second squash match of the day. Actually, it should be one but the spread doesn’t really reflect that. Not only are the Memphis Grizzlies still missing Ja Morant, but now they are also missing his replacement, Marcus Smart. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves might actually be good this season – their 11-4 record is tied for best in the Western Conference. And when Memphis loses (always), they tend to get smoked by more than 6.5 points. Additionally, I have this game pegged to end around the 220-point range, so the Over is the play as well.
Best Bet: Timberwolves -6.5 (-110), Timberwolves/Grizzlies Over 217.5 (-110)
