Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – November 18
Kyrie Irving – Higher than 5.5 Assists
There’s a lot of reasons to fade Kyrie Irving. He seems to be hot and cold with just about every aspect of his game, including whether or not he’s playing at all. However, after taking Thursday off, he’s likely not to be rested on Friday. In addition to that, the one area of his game that never seems to slip all that much is the amount of dimes. He has only failed to meet this projection twice on the year.
Chet Holmgren – Lower than 3.0 Personal Fouls
The knock early on with Chet Holmgren is that people don’t seem to think he can handle the physicality of the league. As a result, they expect him to get hurt and be in foul trouble constantly. However, that simply hasn’t been the case as of late.
Holmgren hasn’t exceeded this projection in any of the last four games. Additionally, we already have a sample of what it looks like when he faces Kevon Looney. They squared off on Thursday and Holmgren made it to the buzzer with just two fouls.
Luka Doncic – Lower than 46.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Luka always seems to be putting up numbers that make you say ‘wow’. The Bucks also aren’t the best team when it comes to defense. As a result, we see these big numbers around Doncic’s name. However, he hasn’t even sniffed these projections over the last three games. You can play the ‘higher than’ just on the idea that he’ll break out, but that seems to speculative for my taste.
