Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – October 31
Julius Randle – Lower than 20.5 Points
Julius Randle is normally a reliable source of points. However, that is not the case this season. He’s come out of the gate ice cold, scoring 13.7 points per game on 28% shooting from the floor. Yuck. He’s eventually going to snap out of it, you’d have to think, but I’m guessing he doesn’t do it tomorrow against the Cavs, who had the top-rated defense last season.
Victor Wembanyama – Higher than 24.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts
French sensation Victor Wembanyama hasn’t been lighting the world on fire through his first few NBA games, but he’s slowly figuring things out. And I think he can go higher than 24.5 points + rebounds + assists against the undermanned Phoenix Suns. The rookie is averaging 15.7 ppg, 7.3 rpg, and 1.7 apg this season – right around the 24.5 mark.
Kevin Durant – Lower than 31.5 Points
No Bradley Beal and no Devin Booker means the Suns’ “Big Three” is down to a “Big One” – Kevin Durant. So you would expect him to go higher than 31.5 points, no? San Antonio is a young, not-very-good team right now, so my hunch is the Suns won’t need too many minutes or production from Durant to get the W. So I’m going lower than 31.5 points for KD.
