Nikola Jokic – Lower than 26.5 Points
Nikola Jokic not an avid scorer. He’d much rather set up teammates and do the other little things to help his team win. He only averaged 24.5 ppg last season and is at 25.5 this year after two games. I think he has another stellar game on Sunday against Oklahoma City, but I don’t think he’s going off for 27+ points.
Giannis Antetokounmpo – Lower than 27.5 Points
Fade the multi-time MVPs it is. Perhaps you’ve heard that Giannis Antetokounmpo has a new running mate in Milwaukee. Some guy named Dame. Look for Damian Lillard to continue to carry the scoring load for the Bucks and Giannis to do everything else. I think 28 or more points is too high for the Freak on Sunday. Lower it is.
Austin Reaves – Lower than 1.5 3-Pointers Made
Our final fade is not a multi-time NBA MVP (yet) – it’s the Lakers’ Austin Reaves. Reaves isn’t a long-range marksman – he only hits about one three-pointer per game for his career. He’s only attempted two deep bombs in each of his first two games this season, so I think counting on him going Lower than 1.5 three-pointers made tomorrow is a safe play.
