Here we go! The playoffs are here, and boy, did they start out with a bang! Back-and-forth games, blowouts, injuries, literally everything you could ask for. Now, it’s time to make some money, and what better way than to give you my favorite NBA playoff player prop bets for Wednesday, April 19th? So let’s get into it.
NBA Playoff Player Prop Bets – Wednesday, April 19th
LeBron James Over 0.5 Blocks
In Game 1 of this series, LeBron James had a lot of help from his supporting cast to get the win. You have to expect the Grizzlies to come out being aggressive at home in Game 2. At home, the Grizzlies can’t afford to go down 0-2 and go on the road for Games 3 and 4. In Game 1 James had three blocks to go along with Anthony Davis‘ seven blocks. With Ja Morant, doubtful to play, James and the Lakers might smell blood in the water.
I expect LeBron to have another solid performance, especially on the defensive side of the ball. That’s why I like his block prop, and you can even latter it to 2+ at +310. But LeBron has hit 1+ block prop in his last seven of eight games and last five of six vs. the Grizzlies. He has 2+ blocks in all five of those six games vs. the Grizzlies. Memphis is also ranked 24th in blocks allowed. So I think this is an excellent spot for the king.
Nikola Jokic Over 8.5 Assists
There aren’t many days where we can find some value in the back-to-back MVP of the league Nikola Jokic. So, when I saw his assist prop at 8.5, it immediately jumped off the page for me.
Jokic averages 9.8 assists per game which is ranked third in the league. Way above his prop line of 8.5 assists. I do expect this line to move closer to 9 or 9.5 closer to the tip, so jump on it while you can.
Jokic has gone over this prop in five of his last ten games. Plus, in his four meetings against the Timberwolves, Nikola has averaged 11 assists and gone over this number in three of the four games. So expect Jokic to have a good game dishing the rock and give me the over 8.5 assists.
Other player props I like:
Austin Reaves Over 15.5 Points
Karl-Anthony Towns Over 20.5 Points
Aaron Gordon Over 14.5 Points
