Our usual prime-time slate of Thursday games was interrupted this week by the holidays. So instead of giving you our line-up for the short slate, we’ve got a huge docket of games to choose from tonight. Friday’s schedule lists twelve games and we’ve got just the combo of players to make your NBA DFS day.
(NOTE: This NBA DFS lineup was made ahead of time. Always check for the latest injuries and inactives prior to lineups locking. )
NBA DFS Picks for Friday – Nov 26th
PG – Alex Caruso ($5,200) – CHI
Caruso is a guy I like in my NBA DFS lineups for today as a boom or bust candidate. He’s a guy who regularly goes off for 30+ fantasy points, but also has plenty of games where he hovers in the teens. The thing that makes me lean boom on him is that he has his best number when he gets a lot of steals. He’ll be playing the Magic who give up the third most steals in the NBA.
SG – LaMelo Ball ($10,300) – CHA
My big-ticket play of the day is LaMelo Ball. If you want to take down the big prize, you have to hit on one of those expensive plays. Ball has been really steady as of late. With the exception of a tough game on Wednesday, where he still scored 34 fantasy points, he’s had over 50 three games in a row. Two of those games gave us 60.
SF – Nassir Little ($3,600) – POR
I said with Ball that you have to hit on a big-ticket – but you also have to find a few diamonds in the rough. Little is one of them for me because Portland keeps seeing a reason to give him more minutes. Early in the season, he was logging 10-15 minutes a game, but he’s been getting nearly 30 as of late. The production keeps rising too with double-figures in each of his last three games and five of his last seven. Totally worth a shot at under 4k.
PF – DeMar DeRozan ($9,000) – CHI
Orlando is a terrible defensive team. They rank 24th in points allowed and are worse over their last three games. DeRozan is a guy who is always going to give you a nice number for the Bulls because he fills out the stat sheet with rebounds and assists regardless. His big point games are all when he is able to score a ton. He’ll have plenty of opportunities to do so today.
C – Jonas Valanciunas ($8,900) – NOP
Valanciunas is slowly becoming one of those guys you can plug into any NBA DFS lineup and feel good about. Only once this year did he fail to get at least eight boards. Over two-thirds of the time he’s getting double-figures in that column. As of late, he’s finding his range from three-point too, which makes him a threat to put up a big ugly number.
G – Jalen Suggs ($5,200) – ORL
Suggs has reached the part of the season where he is starting to look like what we all believed he was when Orlando drafted him. Early in the season, that 5k+ price tag was scary for a guy who couldn’t find his touch. He’s been cold for a couple of games in a row again, but before that was making three deep balls a game. He’s now gone for at least 25 fantasy points in all but one of his last five games.
F – Brandon Clarke ($3,500) – MEM
Speaking of having nice totals in their last five games, Brandon Clarke is putting up absurd numbers for a guy at this price. He has at least 23 fantasy points in four of his last five, and in my opinion, is a must-play for tonight’s NBA DFS slate. He’s also finished within two boards of a double-double bonus two games in a row. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets it here.
UTIL – Franz Wagner ($4,300) – ORL
Yes, I decided to take two guys from Orlando tonight against the usually stellar defense of the Bulls. While the Bulls rank seventh in the NBA in points allowed, they have given up 110 a game in the last three. Wagner has come on hot for the Magic as of late with 16+ points in four of his last six games. He also had 31.8 fantasy points on Wednesday. Let’s ride that hot hand.
