Last week I dissected the AFC results ATS from the 2018 season. Below is a quick breakdown and some interesting trends that developed in the NFC last season.

2018 NFC East ATS Results

1. Washington – 9-7
2. NY Giants – 8-7-1
3. Dallas – 9-8-1
4. Philadelphia – 9-9

Interesting ATS Trends

– Dallas finished with a 5-3-1 record ATS at home which led the division
– The Giants were the best road team ATS in the NFL finishing with a 7-1 record
– Washington led the division going 8-5 ATS as an underdog
– Philadelphia struggled going 3-5 ATS as a home favorite

2018 NFC North ATS Results

Top NFC Teams Against The Spread Last Season

1. Chicago – 12-5
2. Detroit – 9-7
3. Minnesota – 8-7-1
4. Green Bay – 6-9-1

Interesting ATS Trends

– Chicago went 12-5 ATS last season which was the best record in the NFL
– Detroit went an impressive 6-2 ATS on the road which led the division
– Chicago went 6-1 ATS as a home favorite
– Green Bay went 3-1 ATS in non-conference matchups

Top NFC Teams Against The Spread Last Season

1. New Orleans – 10-8
2. Tampa Bay – 7-7-2
3. Carolina – 7-9
4. Atlanta – 5-11

Interesting ATS Trends

– Carolina led the division with a 5-3 home record ATS
– New Orleans covered 75 % of their road games last season
– All four teams in the NFC South finished with a 3-3 record ATS in divisional games
– Atlanta tied for the worst record ATS in the NFL finishing 5-11

– Arizona and LA finished tied for the best record ATS in divisional games going 4-2
– San Francisco finished tied with Atlanta for the worst record ATS in the NFL going 5-11
