Top 5 College Picks Week Twelve

1. Navy -7 @ East Carolina

I’m a big ECU fan so it pains me to say this but first year head coach Scottie Montgumery hasn’t looked like the coach everyone thought he would be. The Pirate defense is terrible and now one of the most difficult offenses to stop is coming to town.

2. Houston +14 vs Louisville (Thursday Night)

Houston may have lost two games and struggled in some others, but I think somewhere lost in this seasons Louisville hype is that the Cardinals have basically played no one with exception to Clemson and Florida State. They split those but had awful performances against Duke and Virginia. I expect Houston to play up for this game. Give me the Cougars and the points.

3. Memphis -7.5 @ Cincinnati (Friday Night)

The Bearcat offense has been awful the past 3 games. I made the mistake of taking them last week and after watching the offensive struggles. I’m sold on Memphis coming into Cincy and winning by a couple scores.

4. Michigan State +22.5 vs Ohio State

I know Ohio State is rolling but The Spartans won’t have a bowl game to play for so I’m expecting the Seniors to try to go out with a bang against a young Ohio State team. Give me the Spartans plus the points.

5. Stanford -11 @ California

I know the Bears are always a tough out at home but Stanford is such a physical team I can’t see the Bears awful run defense being able to stop the Cardinal ground game. The Cardinals are still putting together a pretty good season despite how bad ESPN tries to make the Pac 12 look.
