Football Pick of the Day (October 5th): NFL Week 4 Moneyline Pick
Atlanta Falcons vs New Orleans Saints
8:15pm – Monday – October 5th
Sunday saw us cash a moneyline pick on the underdog Jacksonville Jaguars, and now we’ll try to do it again. While the Falcons are on the road for primetime on Monday, I really do believe they should be favored here.
After dropping their first two games, Atlanta looked like a different team with Michael Penix Jr. under center. He tossed for 256 yards and completed 72% of his passes. All of a sudden, Drake London started looking like one of the best receivers in the league again and it took all of the pressure off of Bijan Robinson. Both picked up more than 190 yards of offense.
The Saints, meanwhile, have the opposite going on. They were trusting in Travis Etienne Jr. to dominate their run game. However, he’s heading to the IR and making way for Alvin Kamara. That should put more pressure on the young quarterback Tyler Shough. For those reasons, I think the underdog play makes a lot of sense here.
