Week 4 of the NFL season is here, and we’re building another three-leg teaser for Sunday’s betting slate. This week’s teaser features the Jets, Jaguars, and Vikings, with six points added to each spread. New York moves from +3.5 to +9.5, Jacksonville moves from +2.5 to +8.5, while Minnesota moves from -10.5 to -4.5. NFL Week 4 Teaser
New York Jets +3.5 to +9.5
The New York Jets enter Week 4 at 1-2 after losing 31-24 against the Detroit Lions last Sunday. But in the 2 losses, the Jets have been competitive. New York showed offensive potential during the loss, scoring 24 points against a strong Detroit team. The Jets now travel to Chicago, where they get a backup QB. These six additional points provide considerable protection in this matchup. I think the Jets keep this game close.
Jacksonville Jaguars +2.5 to +8.5
The Jacksonville Jaguars enter Week 4 with a 2-1 record after destroying New England 35-6 last Sunday. Jacksonville’s offense has shown plenty of explosiveness, while the defense has already produced two victories by double-digits. The Jaguars now travel to Cincinnati, where the Steelers just put up 30 points last Sunday. I don’t think they should be the underdog. Give me the six additional points after opening as 2.5-point underdogs. Getting Jacksonville from +2.5 to +8.5 you’re making the Bengals have to win by two scores.
NFL Week 4 Teaser
Minnesota Vikings -10.5 to -4.5
The Minnesota Vikings are undefeated through three weeks after beating Green Bay, Chicago, and Tampa Bay. Minnesota’s defense has allowed only 41 total points through those three victories, including just three points against Chicago. The Vikings now come home to take on Miami as 10.5-point favorites. The Dolphins have loss every game this season by double digits by an average 16.6 points. Only needing the Vikings to win by 5 is an attractive six-point teaser opportunity.
