After an explosive UFC 331 in Los Angeles last Saturday, the UFC is back to the cozy confines of the Meta APEX this weekend for a Fight Night card. Bantamweights take center stage this coming weekend, with two 135-pounders making their UFC main event debuts. For my MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 121, I’ve got your winner for Saturday’s finale. Let’s go!

MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 121
UFC Vegas 121: Rosas Jr. vs Barcelos
Main Card Start Time: 9:00 PM EST
Twenty-one-year-old Raul Rosas Jr. continues his rapid rise up the ranks of the UFC, getting his first headlining slot this Saturday against veteran Raoni Barcelos. But despite his tender age, Rosas should be considered a UFC vet at this point as well, with seven UFC fights under his belt since debuting in the promotion in late 2022.
However, this is surely the youngster’s stiffest test yet in Barcelos. The Brazilian is also a grappling specialist but a better striker than Rosas. However (again), I’ll almost always go with a fighter who is 17 years younger than his foe and one who continues to evolve and improve with each appearance in the octagon.
