CFFC Flyweight Fight: Brent Williams vs Brandon Bohannan
Card Start Time: Saturday (9/4), 7:00pm EST (UFC Fight Pass)
On the main card of this fight night in Virginia, there is a banger of a fight between a pair of undefeated flyweights. Both men are in their mid-20s and are looking to add another ‘W’ to the column in order to take that next step forward.
The first of those men is Brandon Bohannan. He’ll step into the cage with a 3-0 professional record and a slew of amateur experience as well. He brings a lot of pressure and loves to let go with his hands. However, when you look at the fights before he turned pro, he had a bit of trouble with wrestlers.
That’s bad news for him because Brent Williams is built to take advantage of that. The 4-0 flyweight prospect comes from a wrestling base and has shown the ability to control where the fights take place. He also has excellent back takes and it shows with a pair of rear naked choke victories.
Look for Williams to control the position and pick up that fifth win on Friday.
