The Big-Armed Stars:
Joe Burrow Higher Than 3,999.5 Yards
Drake Maye Higher Than 3,779.5 Yards
Justin Herbert Higher Than 3,649.5 Yards
Let’s kick it off with the big dogs! This one is pretty simple: three stud quarterbacks near the top of the board who I expect to have stellar seasons. Joe Burrow, when he stays healthy, is an absolute menace, and his offense is loaded. In each season where he’s played at least 16 games, Burrow has no less than 4,475 yards. He stays healthy, and this Bengals offense is hard to stop in 2026.
Drake Maye has proven he’s a stud in this league. I don’t want to hear about their schedule. He played four of the toughest defensive units in the league in the playoffs and found a way to beat three of them. Maye almost cracked 4,400 yards last season. Even with regression, he blows by this number.
Justin Herbert + Mike McDaniel. A match made in heaven. The Chargers have the opportunity to be one of the most explosive offenses in all of football this year. Herbert has played in six NFL seasons. He’s hit this number five times, and fell just over 500 yards short in the one year he missed four games.

The Red-Zone Raiders:
Caleb Williams Higher Than 25.5 Touchdown Passes
CJ Stroud Higher Than 22.5 Touchdown Passes
Deshaun Watson Higher Than 12.5 Touchdown Passes
Touchdowns? We talkin’ about touchdowns? It feels like something Allen Iverson would say, so I’m going to roll with it. For this pick em entry, we’re relying solely on firing the end zone. Talk about explosive offenses. Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson are building just that in Chicago. As a rookie, Williams tossed 24 touchdowns, and with Ben Johnson running the show, he upped that mark to 27 last year. That number should just continue to rise. Johnson has actively talked about wanting a better offense than the 2013 Broncos. Peyton Manning threw 55 touchdowns that season.
CJ Stroud is one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the NFL. Right now, all anyone remembers is the embarrassing performance against a tough Patriots defense in the playoffs. They forget the six-game win streak he was on prior to that playoff appearance. Stroud missed four games and still had 19 passing touchdowns. This Texan team will be dangerous in 2026, and CJ Stroud will be a surprise to many, just not us!
Deshaun Watson. I know, it’s disgusting. But you are getting a starting quarterback in the NFL to throw just 13 touchdowns? It’s too good to pass up. Obviously, in his early seasons in Houston, he blew past this number. We don’t have any recent or relevant comparisons. The biggest question is how long he stays the starter. Luckily, his head coach seems committed to him, and this Browns offense isn’t terrible. Two solid rookie wide receivers, Quinshon Judkins and Harold Fannin, who looked to be a star as a rookie. This team will be playing from behind and slinging the rock.

The Shot Takers:
Kyler Murray Higher Than 3,049.5 Yards
Jacoby Brissett Higher Than 2,699.5 Yards
Geno Smith Higher Than 2,599.5 Yards
To the guys who get no respect. It starts with my boy Kyler Murray. He gets a lot of hate, and some of that’s he’s brought on himself. But he’s already proven he’s a good quarterback. Now he goes to the quarterback whisperer himself, Kevin O’Connell. With Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, this is going to be a good offense. Murray has hit this in all four seasons he’s started at least 14 games, and came within 150 yards of it even when he only played 11. He’ll play more this year, and for a good franchise for once.
Speaking of the Cardinals, Murray’s replacement, Jacoby Brissett, did nothing but throw the rock last year. In 14 games, he passed for over 3,300 yards. In all four seasons he’s started at least 14, he’s blown by this number. If he can keep Carson Beck off the field, this is an explosive offense with a bad defense. Like last season, they’ll get the work.
It’s the same thing for Geno Smith, but he’s got nobody behind him to take over. He returns home to his original team with nothing to lose, and weapons to make it happen. It’s as simple as that. In all but one season where he entered the year as the starter, Smith has easily surpassed this projection.
