After a week away, the UFC is back with another of their numbered events. The fight card comes next week and is headlined by the return of Conor McGregor as he fights Max Holloway in a rematch of their 2013 tilt. This UFC 329 card is loaded up with incredible fights with some great spots to look for some high-value MMA bets, picks, and predictions.

Prelim Pick of the Week: UFC 329
UFC Featherweight Fight: Luke Riley vs Kai Kamaka III
Start Time: Saturday (7/11) 5:00am EST (Paramount+)
Buried on prelims of this loaded card is an absolute banger at featherweight. While both fighters should get the style of fight they’re looking for, it will play right into the hands of the favorite. Even with a line that has been widening, it should still be a value play.
Luke Riley enters action on Saturday with a perfect 13-0 record. If you look back through his past fights in Cage Warriors, the only fighters to give him any real trouble are those who force him to think about the grappling. Kamaka has seven career takedowns in the UFC, but it’s the 54% accuracy that will likely not deter Riley. Those takedowns come against a lower level of competition as well – such as Dakota Hope or Danny Chavez.
Another benefit for Riley is that Kamaka often prefers a fight that is striking heavy. He loves to get drawn into a battle and we even saw it in his UFC debut with Tony Kelley. If that’s the case, Riley will be even more comfortable to open up and work his game. When he does just that, he’s a really hard out for just about any featherweight outside of the top 15.
