Vegas Golden Knights vs Carolina Hurricanes
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
I’m kicking off the Stanley Cup Finals with one play that seems obvious to me, and one that isn’t so much. Yet, we’re getting the same odds for both guys in the parlay.
First, for the visiting Vegas Golden Knights and what may seem like the less obvious play (but the far bigger name of the two), Jack Eichel. Eichel is much more of a playmaker than a goal scorer, only topping the 30-goal plateau twice in his career. However, he’s shooting A LOT in this playoff run, tied for the team lead with 42 shots on goal. The puck is bound to start finding the back of the net for him.
Now, for the Carolina Hurricanes unlikely hero, Logan Stankoven. Despite only scoring 21 goals during the regular season, the third-year center is leading the Canes in playoff scoring with nine goals, as well as shots on goal with 46.
