We’re left with only one game on the NBA slate tomorrow, but assuming a certain big Frenchman can keep his elbows under control, it should be a good one. Here are your NBA Playoffs predictions and preview for Tuesday, May 12th.
NBA Playoffs Predictions & Preview For Tuesday, May 12th
Minnesota Timberwolves vs San Antonio Spurs
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
The Western Conference Second Round series between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the San Antonio Spurs is down to a best-of-three as it returns to the Alamo City for Game 5 on Wednesday. Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama’s costly ejection early in Game 4 helped the Wolves save their season, as did Anthony Edwards continued stellar play.
I was surprised to see the line for this game tomorrow night, as I felt that Minnesota’s play over this series and the fact that they won Game 1 on enemy turf would have made the spread closer than it is. Sure, the Spurs almost won without their big guy on Sunday night, and you’d have to expect Victor to come out with something to prove tomorrow night, but I still like Minnesota’s chances.
Well, their chances to cover the spread, that is. My line is still San Antonio -9.5, so I thought the spread would be playable in the Spurs’ favor. Instead, I’ve got the Wolves plus the points on the road tomorrow night.
