NHL Goal Scorer Parlay For Thursday (May 7th): NHL Predictions

Carolina Hurricanes vs Philadelphia Flyers

Start Time: 8:00 PM EST

Finding a couple of goal scorers from the Carolina Hurricanes and the Philadelphia Flyers Eastern Conference Second Round series isn’t the simplest of tasks, as neither team is exactly an offensive powerhouse. But we shall get the job done.

One person who hasn’t had any trouble scoring in this postseason is Hurricanes center Logan Stankoven. After scoring a career-high 21 goals in the regular season, the 23-year-old has exploded in the playoffs, tallying a league-best six goals, including two in Game 1 of this series against the Flyers.

Adding a scorer from Philadelphia is another matter, however. No player has broken out for them, with a handful of guys leading the team with two goals each. However, I’m going to add veteran center Sean Couturier to my parlay. Despite only finding the back of the net once in the playoffs (in Game 2 against Carolina), he leads the team with 21 shots on goal.

NHL Goal Scorer Parlay: Logan Stankoven + Sean Couturier (+1649)
