Daily NBA Player Props – May 6th
Stephon Castle – Over 1.5 Three-Pointers (+128)
We loved (and cashed) this prop in Game 1 of the series and I see no reason not to get down with it again. He’s had at least a pair from behind the arc in five straight games. He’s averaging 2.6 makes in that span of time. Additionally, the Spurs seemed to have the long ball as an inportant part of their approach to the Timberwolves. If that continues, he should cash this with no issues.
Josh Hart – Under 5.5 Asssts (-140)
It looks like the books are leaning a bit too heavily on Game 1 of this series. While Hart did have six assists in the opener, that’s really been a bit of a reach for him overall. In fact, in the last three games of the Hawks series, he failed to hit that number in any of them. He put up just nine assists across all three of those games – an average of 3.0 assists per. I expect him to come in a bit closer to that number in what should be a more closely contested Game 2.
Dylan Harper – Over 11.5 Points (+106)
Speaking of things that are a part of the Spurs gameplan, Dylan Harper seems to be firmly in their postseason plans. He’s not played less than 23 minutes in a game yet this playoffs, and has at least 25 in each of the last four. As a result, he is 3-1 against this line in his last four games and is averaging 16.3 points in the process. No reason to think that will significantly drop off as they head to Game 2 at home.
