Carolina Hurricanes vs Philadelphia Flyers
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
The Carolina Hurricanes showed why they are the favorites to win the Stanley Cup next month, winning the first two games of their Eastern Conference Second Round series against the Philadelphia Flyers. While Game 2 went to overtime, the Hurricanes have outscored the Flyers in the series 6-2 thus far.
And I don’t expect the Flyers’ fortunes to improve much now that the action shifts to the City of Brotherly Love. First off, Philadelphia’s Owen Tippett, their leading scorer in the regular season with 28 goals, is questionable for tomorrow night’s action with an injury. Plus, Philly is a below-average team on their home ice, while the Hurricanes were the fourth-best road team in the NHL during the regular season, including taking one of two in Philadelphia.
The Carolina Hurricanes on the moneyline is my best bet for Thursday.
