Toronto Raptors vs Cleveland Cavaliers
Start Time – 7:30 PM EST
After easily dispatching the Toronto Raptors in the first two games of their Eastern Conference First Round series, the Cleveland Cavaliers were probably hoping to make it a short series. Then the action shifted north of the border.
Now we’re down to a best-of-three series as the action shifts back to Cleveland for Game 5. And the Raptors still aren’t being given enough respect on the lines. My line is Cleveland -6, so the Raptors plus the points is my play.
Best Bet: Toronto +9 (-108)
Houston Rockets vs Los Angeles Lakers
Start Time – 10:00 PM EST
The Houston Rockets are one of those aforementioned surprising teams on the brink of elimination as their series heads to Los Angeles, with the Lakers up 3-1. It appears there will still be no Kevin Durant for the Rockets tomorrow, but they showed in Game 4 that they can win without him.
Austin Reaves may be back tomorrow for the home side, however. Still, even with Reaves (probably not at 100%), I only have the Lakers as a slight favorite. I’ll take a chance on the Rockets plus the points.
Best Bet: Houston +4.5 (-110)
