After a one-week stop at their home base in Las Vegas, the UFC octagon is on the move again this week, going across the world to the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. And, for the second week in a row, we have a former UFC champion headlining. For my MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: UFC Perth, I’m taking a big swing on a flyweight. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

Not surprisingly, we have an Aussie-heavy fight card this Saturday in Perth, Australia, including the third fight from the top, which features former title challenger – and Perth’s own – Steve Erceg, facing American Tim Elliott in a flyweight bout.
And, sorry Aussies, but I’m going with the American, and big underdog, Elliott, in this fight. Elliott is such a tricky, crafty, and just plain weird fighter that he’s a bad matchup for anyone. He carries more power, with a better chin, on the feet, and he is as difficult a grappler as you’ll find in the sport.
