Daily NBA Player Props – April 22nd
Cade Cunningham – Under 9.5 Assists (-105)
I’m a big fan of the way that Cunningham was dishing the ball out during the regular season. We cashed many of his assists overs in this column and usually without a sweat. The playoffs are a different beast though. Cunningham made it clear in the 40 minutes that he played that he would be the primary source of scoring. As a result, he ended with just 4 dimes. While I do expect more this game, I think his increased tendancy to shoot should have him stay in single digits.
Dillon Brooks – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+147)
Brooks drilled three from beyond the arc in Game 1, but it’s not the scoring that has me bullish on the prop again here. The volume is far more telling of the type of game that Brooks will be looking to get into. He shot 10 times from deep in Game 1 – largely due to the pacing and score of the game. With the Suns likely to trail for the bulk of this one again, look for Brooks to try to help shoot the Suns bcak into this one.
Duncan Robinson – Over 11.5 Points (+114)
Robinson didn’t see much volume in the first game of the series, but he’s done well against this line on the season. He’s 6-4 over his last ten and with plenty more shots attempted than we saw last time. Even if he just gets a few more of those shots that went to Cunningham last game, he should be able to find three more points for the cash.
