The College Football National Championship game will take place on Monday Night at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. After a stellar year of playoff games, we get the top overall-seeded Indiana Hoosiers against the 10-seeded Miami Hurricanes. Let’s dive into this National Championship game and see which players might leave the biggest mark on their college careers. It’s time to look at the College Football National Championship best bets, player props style.
Kickoff for Monday night is set for 7:30 ET on ESPN. Indiana is the heavy favorite, but Miami gets the opportunity to play on their home field. Indiana is looking to complete a perfect 16-0 season. They picked up wins over Alabama and Oregon in the College Football Playoffs to get here after a first-round bye. Miami was controversial when they got into the playoffs over Notre Dame, but they’ve proven their worth by beating Texas A&M, Ohio State, and Ole Miss to get to the title game.
College Football National Championship Best Bets: Player Props Edition
Kaelon Black Over 59.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Indiana has done a great job of establishing the run in their two College Football Playoff games, and that’ll be their goal once again on Monday. Kaleon Black has been the team’s lead dog in these College Football Playoffs. Against the Crimson Tide, he carried the ball 15 times for 99 yards. Then last week against the Oregon Ducks, Black dashed for 63 yards on just 12 carries. Black has hit 60 or more rushing yards in four straight games for the Hoosiers, seven of the last nine games, and 10 times total this year.
Ole Miss had plenty of success on the ground last week as a hobbled Kewan Lacey ran for 103 yards on just 10 carries. Ohio State’s Bo Jackson was able to get 55 yards against them the previous round. Indiana will be the most lethal team they face, and they’ll lean on Kaelon Black to carry the ground game.
Malachi Toney Over 8.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Malachi Toney is the freshman who should still be a senior in high school, who’s lighting the College Football world on fire. The Hoosiers will have to try to slow Toney down as the Ohio State Buckeyes did a few weeks ago. That means the Hurricanes will have to get creative to use their superstar freshman and get the ball in his hands. We all know how explosive Toney is once he gets the ball. One end around is all it will take for him to smash this number. Toney hit this last week, and in four of the last five Hurricane games.
CJ Daniels Over 3.5 Receptions (+100)
If the Hoosiers are shutting Malachi Toney down, it’s going to force the Hurricanes to look elsewhere. Through the first two College Football Playoff games, Daniels has hit this number with four catches against Ole Miss and five catches against Ohio State. Daniels caught at least four passes in eight of his 11 games this season. The 6’2”, 205 lbs senior receiver has strong hands, and he’s a guy Carson Beck can trust to throw the ball to.
Charlie Becker Longest Reception Over 23.5 Yards (-120)
If you look up the definition of a big play wide receiver in College Football in 2026, you’ll probably see a picture of Charlie Becker there. All Becker does is produce big play after big play for this Hoosiers football team. Last week against Oregon, Becker had only two catches, but managed to go for 36 yards on one of them. Against the Crimson Tide, also just two catches, with a long of 30. In the Big Ten Championship Game, Becker had himself a day. He caught six passes for 126 yards, including a 51-yard play. That’s three straight big game breakouts for Becker, where he hit this number. He’s also hit it in six of his last seven games, and nine of his 12 on the year. I’m playing the longest catch, but I also love laddering Becker’s receiving yards to 150+ at 20/1 odds.
Kaelon Black Anytime Touchdown (+100)
Let’s end with an anytime touchdown, which I find hard to see not hitting. At even money, the number is perfect, and we’ll bookend this article with one more Kaelon Black prop. Black has scored in both College Football Playoffs games, including twice against Oregon. The way I see this game going, Indiana is going to be in control, with Kaelon running things (literally) on the ground. He’ll find his way to the end zone at least once, and his 3+ touchdowns is 30/1 if you are feeling frisky.
