Atlanta Hawks vs Charlotte Hornets
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
Don’t look now, but the Charlotte Hornets are almost resembling a competent NBA team this season. While their win-loss record doesn’t really reflect it, when you look under the hood, you see that the Hornets are much improved this season.
Having LaMelo Ball miss 10 of the Hornets’ games probably has something to say for the team’s improved outlook. My line tomorrow is Charlotte -0.5, so I’ll take the Hornets as a home dog.

Washington Wizards vs San Antonio Spurs
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
The San Antonio Spurs had an impressive run to the NBA Cup finals, even with Victor Wembanyama missing most of it and/or playing limited minutes. Now they get to ease back into regular season action by hosting the league’s worst team, the Washington Wizards, on their home court tomrorow night.
Perhaps bettors are expecting some sort of Cup hangover for the Spurs, because this spread is not wide enough tomorrow night. My line is San Antonio -21.5(!!), so the Spurs on the spread it is then.
