The Colts drafted quarterback Anthony Richardson with the fourth overall pick in the 2023 draft hoping they found their franchise arm. Unfortunately, he has been unable to stay on the field long enough to fulfill that desire. That led to Indianapolis acquiring Daniel Jones during the offseason. The former Giants quarterback instantly repaid the favor by scoring a 33-8 win against the Dolphins in his Colts debut. His defense was equally impressive, limiting a high-octane Miami offense to just 211 yards on the day.

The Broncos ended last season with their first winning season since 2015 as well as a trip to the postseason. Rookie quarterback Bo Nix rose to prominence in relief of Russell Wilson and solidified his spot at the helm in the process. Last week, he and his Broncos started the year with a 20-12 victory against the Titans. It was not a stellar game offensively for Denver, producing just 317 yards of offense on the day. However, the defense throttled Tennessee rookie quarterback Cam Ward and surrendered only 133 total yards of offense to the Titans.

Daniel Jones Over 201.5 Passing Yards (-113 via DRAFTKINGS)

Jones looked revitalized in his first game with the Colts throwing for 272 yards last week. The veteran quarterback took full advantage of the weapons at his disposal, connecting with Michael Pittman Jr. on 6 of his 8 targets for 80 yards and a touchdown. He also benefited from a strong running attack that saw Jonathan Taylor gain 71 yards on 18 carries. He’s inherited an offense that saw Joe Flacco throw for at least 202 yards in four of his seven appearances last season.

Despite his overall frustrations and ultimate benching, Jones did produce five games last year in which he crossed this prop total with the Giants. The veteran signal caller has a career average of 209.2 passing yards per game. He’ll face a Denver defense that allowed 222.9 passing yards per game last season.

Colts Moneyline (+110 via DRAFTKINGS)

The books favored Indianapolis last week at home against the Dolphins. This week, they are not extending the same courtesy as the books have the Colts as the underdog across the board. In some cases, they are as much as 2.5-point dogs in this fight. However, Indianapolis has won two out of their last three meetings with the Broncos. This includes Denver’s last trip to Lucas Oil Stadium during the 2019 season.
