Noche UFC: Lopes vs Silva
Start Time: Saturday – 3:00 PM EST – (ESPN+)
This is the UFC’s third annual event celebrating Mexican Independence Day, yet it’s taking place in San Antonio with two Brazilians headlining it. Hmm. Don’t waste brain cells trying to figure out how the UFC brass decides on things – they clearly gave up years ago.
But we haven’t given up on winning money on the action inside the cage. My best bet for tomorrow comes from a middleweight fight taking place on tomorrow’s prelims between Dusko Todorovic and Jose Medina.
Medina got his UFC contract by impressing UFC boss Dana White by impersonating a punching bag on Dana White’s Contender Series. Once again, don’t waste your time trying to figure out how the UFC makes decisions on things. Medina has gone on, not surprisingly, to take two more beatings – and losses – in the UFC.
Todorovic is going to blast Medina on the feet and perhaps finish him tomorrow. Sorry for the wide line, but I’ve already given out better plays this week on the site and don’t want to repeat myself (check them out here).
