Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento, California, isn’t just the home of the Sacramento River Cats, but it’s also the home of the homeless Athletics, a team so lost they have no city name attached to them. And speaking of losing, they’ve done plenty of that in their new temporary home, only going 9-19 in Sacramento.
The visiting Minnesota Twins are a strong ballclub, with the advanced stats ranking them ninth best in the majors. Minnesota on the moneyline is the first half of our winning parlay.
We’re pairing that play with a bet on the man pictured above, the Twins’ starter on Monday, Joe Ryan. Ryan is having a breakout season for the team, and he’s 20th in the majors in total strikeouts. The Athletics are a team that whiffs more than their fair share, so we’re finishing off this parlay with Ryan getting over 6.5 K’s on Monday.
