Ottawa Senators vs Carolina Hurricanes
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
This is the only game on the slate for the NHL tomorrow, as there are 28 teams in action on Thursday night. As mentioned above, the Carolina Hurricanes are a juggernaut at the Lenovo Center, sporting an 11-3 record on their home ice. The Hurricanes’ opponent tomorrow – the Ottawa Senators – is pretty weak on the road, sporting a 4-7-1 record away from home (and just a .500 record overall this season).
As expected, Carolina is one of the best teams in the league this season, currently ranked fifth overall according to advanced stats. They have no real weaknesses, with a top-four offense and a top-ten defense. Carolina shut out Ottawa 4-0 in their only meeting thus far this season. The Hurricanes should be able to handle the mediocre Senators on home ice tomorrow night. Carolina on the moneyline is my best bet for Friday.
