Vegas Golden Knights vs Boston Bruins
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
Two of the NHL’s top teams meet up tomorrow, as the Vegas Golden Knights make their only visit to Beantown this season (save for a possible Stanley Cup matchup) to visit the Boston Bruins. The Golden Knights being elite is no surprise, as they are always in the Cup hunt and were projected for 103.5 points heading into the season (they are on pace for 106). But those pesky Bruins are defying expectations, just like last season.
Boston was only expected to be an 87.5-point team this year, and here they are with 21 points already in just 15 games (a 118-point pace if you don’t want to do the math). Fifth in the league in goals for and fourth in goals against, the Bruins are an elite team. Plus, they are 6-1 on their home ice, making them one of the league’s top teams in their own barn.
The Boston Bruins, on a very favorable moneyline, are my best bet to start the week right.
