Daily NBA Player Props – October 27th
Payton Pritchard – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (-112)
It might seem hacky to go after the three-pointers made on a guy who dropped seven in last night, but there is more than just recency bias in this play. Pritchard is shooting over 50% on the year from beyond the arc and should have plenty of attempts here. The Nets are awful, which should give a bench guy like Pritchard more run. Additionally, no team in the league is giving up more three-pointers per game than Brooklyn.
Domantas Sabonis – Over 13.5 Rebounds (-102)
The books are overcorrecting here for playing the Spurs. Sure, Victor Wembanyama deters many players from grabbing their averages when it comes to rebounds, but this line isn’t set anywhere near Sabonis’ average. He’s currently first in the NBA with 17.3 rebounds per game and has not been below 15 yet on the season. Even with a worse matchup, he should be able to find this many.
Ja Morant – Over 6.5 Assists (+114)
Morant has played just two games on the year and has put up seven and eight assists respectively. More important to this pick is the fact that he’s starting to log more minutes. He’s finding his footing as a member of this squad and should be able to replicate those numbers once more. The Lakers have also given up 120.0 per game over their last two, which should provide the opportunities needed.
